For example, drinking ice water may cause rapid constriction of blood vessels, which may lead to temporary hypoxia or stroke.
It is easy for the cold air to enter the body when taking a cold shower while you are sweaty and therefore get sick easily.

Carry portable fan
You will find various kinds of portable fans in shops, affordable and convenient. They are palm-size and easy to carry. It is a must-have tool in the summer time in Taiwan. Remember not to put yourself under the fan continuously or you will still get a cough.
Have moderate meals
The body will create more heat and raise the body temperature to digest the food. Having meals moderately and gently helps you keep the body temperature in a proper position and you will not find yourself unable to fit in the jeans which were bought last year.
Drink room temperature water
It is common to see people holding a cup of iced Americano or a bobble milk tea in hand in summer. Ice drinks will make people feel cool the moment you drink it in the mouth, but it will cause the core temperature in your body to decrease. Your body will thus raise temperature to balance so you will feel hotter afterward. To relieve the heat, it is recommended to drink water at room temperature, which is healthier and burden-free.
Wear light-colored clothes
Light-colored clothing reflects sunlight, while dark-colored clothing absorbs heat. Choosing more breathable and comfortable materials to wear, such as cotton and linen. They could help the body to dissipate heat faster.
Due to the high humidity in Taiwan, it is quite sultry and the populace may suffer from heat stroke easily in summer.
It is important to keep indoor ventilation. Also, having a cup of tea such as chrysanthemum tea, lavender tea and rose tea helps you relax your body and mind and keep your body temperature at a lower state.
